As a small trader, he bought raw lentils and beans from the local farmers in the town marketplace to sell on to his neighbors and nearby shops. He then then set up a small domestic mill in his house that his eldest son Jagdishchandra Agrawal and started milling pulses. started milling pulses.

A successful model that his three sons took to the next level in 1996: the brothers Jagdish Agrawal, Rajesh Agrawal, and Manoj Agrawal set up our first medium-scale manufacturing plant under the name Ramniwas Jagdishchandra in Indore, India. They sourced raw pulses directly from farmers and local marketplaces across India, and started supplying pulses to numerous retailers, food processing companies, and proudly serviced various Indian military establishments during the Kargil war.

Over the next 20 years, the organization developed step by step. We opened our second factory in 2006 for milling unhusked pulses and formed the firm R J Pulses. This was we doubled our production capacity and steadily increased both the number of customers and employees. In 2018 we started our export operations starting with the middle east with a healthy growth that has now expanded to Europe. In 2023, we established a fully automated manufacturing and packaging plant and increased our production capacity to a total combined output of 180 MT per day.

Now in its third generation, the family business has remained true to its fundamental principle: "Always be fair to your buyers, sellers, and your employees."
